Product Overview
The IAFF Burn Foundation, established by the IAFF, is dedicated to fire prevention and burn awareness education, advocacy, burn research and improving the quality of life for burn survivors. Created in 1982 as a 501(c)3, tax-exempt, non-profit, the Burn Foundation is one of the largest sources for burn research grants and the sponsor of the annual IAFF Burn Foundation's International Burn Camp, held each fall in Washington, DC.
The photos featured in the 2011 IAFF Burn Foundation Calendar were submitted in the IAFF Media Awards Contest, conducted annually to honor reporting and photography that best portray the professional and dangerous work of fire fighters and emergency personnel in the United States and Canada.
